About
Peninsula Dog Parks, Inc. Peninsula
Dog Parks, Inc., was organized in 1998 by concerned dog owners in the
San Pedro/Palos Verdes Peninsula area who saw a need for an off-leash
dog park. We are an all-volunteer, non-profit group governed by a six
member Board of Directors. PDPI has worked closely with government
officials and local agencies to make this park possible. While the
Port of Los Angeles has been extremely generous in establishing the
park, other needed supplies will be provided on an on going basis
through our fund-raising efforts of PDPI. In August of 2002 Knoll Hill
Off-Leash Dog Park became a reality due to the dedication and hard
work of individuals and agencies committed to creating a safe and
secure area where the community’s canines can exercise off-leash
including: Councilwoman Janice Hahn and the Port of Los Angeles.
The park is open
dawn to dusk.
