1st = $50.00

LOBSTER PET PARADE RULES
  1.. No Floats Allowed
  2.. Dog(s) dressed as a Sea Creature or Seafood
  3.. No costumes used in previous Lobster Pet Parade contests
  4.. No store bought costumes. Handmade outfits are welcomed
  5.. One entry pass given to you and one guest. Total of two (2). If you have additional guests with you, they must pay the entry fee at the main entrance to the Lobster Festival.
  6.. Only costumed dogs are allowed in the event and only for participation in the parade and judging

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
All dogs entering must have proof of current rabies vaccination (other vaccinations as recommended by your vet).  By law, all dogs must be licensed.  All participants must sign the injuries/illness waiver below.  All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.  All dogs must be on leash no longer than 6ft.  Dogs under 6 months old may not participate in the event.  Female dogs in any stage of heat will not be allowed to compete.  At the discretion of the parade director, dogs whose behavior is unruly or might prove hazardous to other participants, dogs, or spectators, may be required to leave the area.  Individuals may walk with one or more dogs (limit 3), provided each dog is officially entered and leashed.

In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I, the undersigned, do waive any and all claims against the Port of Los Angeles, the City of Los Angeles, International Lobster Festival, Kritter Korral Pet Shop, Peninsula Dog Parks, Inc., all sponsors and all officials and volunteers of this event for any injury or illness which may directly or indirectly result from my participation in the 2008 Peninsula Pet Parade even though their liability may arise of out of negligence of carelessness on their part.  I know that walking a parade with my dog is potentially a hazardous activity.  I further state that my dog and I are in proper physical condition to participate in this event.  I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use my name, my dog's name, and any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or and other record of our participation in this event for any publicity and/or promotional purposes without obligation or liability to me.  WARNING:  I understand that high heat and humidity can be extremely dangerous and that I will not overexert myself or my dog(s) under these conditions.
